Local Context

The plan describes Rancho San Pasqual as approximately one and one-half miles north of Route 78, east of Cloverdale Road, and northwest of what the 1998 document calls the San Diego Wild Animal Park.

The plan includes a land-use map in Exhibit III-A. Escondidopedia does not trace that map into a polygon or decide whether a particular address is inside the area. Consult current City Planning and parcel records for property-specific questions.

Planning Context

Printed page I-2 says the property is designated as a Specific Planning Area through the Land Use Element of the City's General Plan. This page therefore describes a planning area, not a boundary created by Escondidopedia.

Rancho San Pasqual is narrower than the broader San Pasqual Valley. References to the valley, the San Pasqual Band, Harvest Hill, schools, or the Safari Park are not treated as evidence that a page belongs to this planning area.

For links to current City planning and zoning tools, see Planning, Zoning, and Development Resources. Future pages linked from this guide must have an explicitly reviewed Rancho San Pasqual Specific Plan connection; proximity, an address, or a shared name alone is not membership.

Publication Limits

This page does not provide polygon geometry, parcel inclusion, current zoning, development standards, permit or legal guidance, project status, demographic estimates, housing measures, or an image. Check current adopted documents, parcel tools, and City Planning guidance before making property, development, or regulatory decisions.

Source Notes

The current City directory is used only to confirm that the City lists and links the plan. The City-hosted plan supplies the dated adoption statement, planning-area designation, general orientation, and printed map context. Neither source is used as complete current parcel-level or legal guidance.
