Overview

Kit Carson Park is a City of Escondido regional park on Bear Valley Parkway. It has 100 developed acres, and another 185 acres are preserved as natural habitat.

Besides its Sports Center, the park has a 3,000-capacity outdoor amphitheater, a 17-hole disc golf course, bike and hiking trails, and Queen Califia's Magical Circle, a sculpture garden by artist Niki de Saint Phalle.
