Local Context
The plan describes South Centre City as a linear corridor along Centre City Parkway and South Escondido Boulevard. It extends generally from the southern edge of the Downtown Escondido Specific Plan toward the Interstate 15 entrance.
The plan includes a study-area map on printed page 4. Escondidopedia does not trace that map into a polygon or decide whether a particular address belongs within the area. Consult current City Planning and parcel records for property-specific questions.
Planning Context
The plan divides the area into eight districts: Escondido Boulevard, 9th Avenue Overlay, Quince Street, Orange Street, 13th Avenue Corners, Felicita Commercial, Southern Entry, and West Mercado. Those are plan labels, not neighborhoods or membership decisions made by Escondidopedia.
For links to current City planning and zoning tools, see Planning, Zoning, and Development Resources. Pages eventually linked from this area guide must have an explicitly reviewed South Centre City connection; proximity or an address alone will not be treated as membership.

Publication Limits
This page does not provide polygon geometry, parcel inclusion, an adoption date, current zoning, development standards, permit or legal guidance, active-project status, completed-development claims, business inventories, demographic estimates, housing projections, or an image.
The City directory and plan can change. Check current adopted documents, zoning records, parcel tools, and City Planning guidance before making property, development, or regulatory decisions.
Source Notes
The current City directory is used only to confirm that the City lists and links the South Centre City Specific Plan. Printed page 2 of the revised August 2018 plan supplies the general corridor description. Printed page 4 supplies the plan overview, study-area map context, and eight district names. Neither source is used here as current parcel-level or legal guidance.
